Senior Technical Program Manager, Vehicle Systems Integration

Zoox is developing autonomous driving from the ground up, including the development of a unique vehicle tailored to autonomous driving. The Vehicle Program team is responsible for driving cross-functional activities to ensure that this groundbreaking vehicle is delivered on-time, to budget and to a very high quality standard.In this role, you will report to the Director of Vehicle Program Management and lead program management activities for the delivery of our future L3 vehicle program at Zoox. In this role, you will: Lead cross-functional collaboration with Vehicle Development and teams across Zoox to plan and deliver vehicle programDefine program milestones, aligning deliverables and success criteria across all stakeholdersBuild and maintain an achievable, data-driven program schedule with input from core team membersTrack progress through regular checkpoints and adjust plans to keep the program on trackDrive issue resolution by providing solutions, implementing mitigations, and escalating when neededEnsure teams are resourced effectively to meet program goals Qualifications BS or MS degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience8+ years of experience in vehicle engineering or program management in the automotive industryExperience in vehicle development at all stages; product ideation, design, release, prototyping, validation, launch and productionProficient in tools required to manage complex projects (i.e. Gantt charts) Bonus Qualifications Proven track-record in managing complex cross-functional projectsProficiency using JIRA to capture and track engineering development tasksExperience in a highly dynamic start-up environment Compensation Base Salary RangeThere are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. The listed range applies only to the base salary. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance.
