Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Associate to join our dynamic team in a remote work environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing tax services to our clients, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations while optimizing their tax strategies. This position requires a deep understanding of various tax entities and the ability to deliver exceptional consulting and planning services.
We are open to a Tax Manager at a higher salary if interested! This is an urgent need.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, C-Corporations, S-Corporations, partnerships, and fiduciary entities.
Conduct tax planning and consulting for clients to minimize tax liabilities and enhance compliance.
Perform multi-state income tax analysis and ensure proper filing for clients across different jurisdictions.
Research and analyze complex tax issues and provide strategic recommendations to clients.
Utilize CCH tax software and QuickBooks Online for accurate tax preparation and record-keeping.
Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information and documents for tax filings.
Assist in the development and implementation of tax strategies that align with clients' financial goals.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior tax associates and staff.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3-5+ years experience in tax preparation, planning, and consulting.
Strong understanding of U.S. income tax, including multi-state income tax regulations.
Experience with C-Corporations, S-Corporations, partnerships, and fiduciary tax returns.
Proficient in using CCH tax software and QuickBooks Online.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
CPA certification is preferred or (EA Enrolled Agent).
Candidate would need to go onsite to meet the team, then 100% remote!
Benefits
Base salary: $85,000 - $100,000 - dependent on seniority level
