Senior Tax Accountant (AU Accounting Firm, WFH)

Salary: P120,000- P130,000 (Monthly Package) Schedule: Monday – Friday (06:00 AM - 03:00 PM PHT) What are we looking for? Skills Required: Minimum 4 years’ experience in Australian Public Practice is preferred, demonstrated equivalent commercial experience may be considered. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject: CA/CPA qualified. Thorough knowledge of accepted accounting practices and principles. Australian Standards. Demonstrated technical abilities and experience in using MYOB AE, Excel Microsoft Outlook, QuickBooks, MYOB Account Right and Xero. ATO Portal Thorough knowledge of applicable business and tax laws, codes and regulations. Able to understand and complete a Division 7A Loan Reconciliation workpaper Experience in completing Australian tax returns for individuals, trust, companies and partnerships. Compile and analyse financial information to prepare financial statements for Sole Traders, Companies and Trusts, including monthly, quarterly and annual BAS’s and income tax returns Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities Provide matters for consideration for review by Managers/Directors Agree all workflow deadlines before commencing work and ensure these deadlines are met Complete all workpaper files before providing for review Check taxation and other correspondence before submitting to Managers/Directors Research taxation matters and communicate findings with Managers/Directors Delegate and supervise appropriate work to Intermediates/Graduates.
