The Senior Tactical Communication Specialist Role:

• Serve as primary technical point of contact for customers, gathering requirements and translating operational needs into solutions

• Architect and implement system integrations connecting Darkhive platforms with customer networks, tactical radios, and C2 systems

• Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot TAK ecosystem components

• Support field exercises, demonstrations, and deployments, diagnosing issues in real-time and ensuring mission success

• Create and troubleshoot tactical radio networks, including MANET and mesh radio configurations

• Collaborate with engineering teams to communicate customer feedback and inform product development

• Create and maintain technical documentation including integration guides and network diagrams

• Support unmanned system integration across multiple domains including autonomy and swarm operations

This is a full-time, exempt, non-supervisory role reporting to the VP of Engineering. This role is remote with up to 50% travel to customer sites, exercises, and operational environments.

Qualifications you bring:

• Strong experience crafting and executing test plans for complex system integrations

• Prior U.S. military experience, particularly in roles involving C4ISR, communications, or unmanned systems

• Familiarity with ATO/cATO processes and DoD cybersecurity requirements

• Experience with Python or other rapid prototyping languages

Bonus Qualifications:

• Strong experience crafting and executing test plans for complex system integrations

• Prior U.S. military experience, particularly in roles involving C4ISR, communications, or unmanned systems

• Experience with Python or other rapid prototyping languages

• U.S. Military Veteran

• An active security clearance (this is not a requirement for the position).
