The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of our Jira environment, ensuring seamless operations and providing top-tier support to our users.Key Responsibilities:Jira & Jira Service Management Administration:Designing a standard data model that is maintainable and scalable and works for both Jira and Jira Service Management, including asset managementEstablish a governance structure and its processes for Jira and Jira Service DeskCreating standard workflow designs and automations for teams to reuseAutomating IT’s service desk processesManaging users, including onboarding, permissions, and access controlManage Jira Plugins to ensure they comply with our security practices, creating custom plugins when neededJira Service Management Design:Queue and SLA design and administrationAutomation and scripting for service desk processesKnowledge base managementCustomer portal customizationSystem Performance and Optimization:Monitoring and troubleshooting Jira performance issuesImplementing best practices for system optimizationCapacity planning and resource allocationUser Support and Training:Serve as one of the subject matter experts as well as develop, test and deploy upgrades for Jira, Jira service management, and ConfluenceCreating and delivering training materials and documentationAssisting with user adoption and change managementCollaboration and Communication:Working closely with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and project managementClearly communicating technical concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersRequired skills:3+ years of experience in systems administration or a related fieldDeep expertise in Confluence, Jira and Jira Service Management administrationStrong understanding of ITIL best practices and process design principlesExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsJira certifications (preferred)Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred)Knowledge in scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, Python) (preferred)Will be a Plus:Knowledge of DevOps practices and toolsFamiliarity with cloud-based Jira deployments (Atlassian Cloud)Experience with Agile methodologiesCandidate journey⭕️ Recruiter call --> ⭕️ Skills assessment--> ⭕️ Systems design -->⭕️ Meet the Leadership team✨ Why You’ll Love Being Part of Welltech:Grow Together: Join a culture that champions both personal and professional growth.
