Position Overview

You'll be supporting critical analysis for the Supply Chain Department and other internal stakeholders through comprehensive spend reporting and performance metrics. Key Responsibilities

As a Senior SCM Operations Data Analytics Analyst at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:


Data Analysis and Insights: Conduct comprehensive data analysis using advanced techniques including data mining, data modeling, and cost-benefit analysis. Identify data and system issues that affect reporting quality and analytical deliverables, ensuring accuracy and reliability in all outputs.
Business Intelligence Development: Design and create compelling data visualizations using Tableau and other visualization tools. Transform complex data sets into intuitive dashboards that enable stakeholders to make informed decisions quickly and effectively.
Methodology Implementation: Develop and implement quality practices and methodologies while maintaining a deep understanding of customer needs to ensure all deliverables meet or exceed expectations.
Process Optimization: Create and optimize processes for data analysis and reporting, both for internal and external customers. Streamline data blending and data manipulation workflows to reduce manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
Data Integration: Provide project-based knowledge for data extraction, collection, integration, and analysis from multiple data sources. Ensure data integrity and consistency across all reporting platforms.
Cross-Functional Support: Support the SCM Department and internal customers by providing comprehensive reporting, analysis, dashboard development, and application development that meets business requirements.
Strategic Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members and cross-functional departments on strategic initiatives. Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
Continuous Improvement: Perform other job-related duties as directed by leadership, contributing to the overall success of the Supply Chain Management team and the organization.


Required Qualifications

Education

High School Diploma or GED (required)
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (required)


Experience
We are looking for candidates with advanced-level experience and specialized knowledge in:


Analytical, data science, or data-centric environments
Data Analysis, Data Modelling, and Data Architecture
Management of big data systems (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, or equivalent knowledge of ETL functionality)
Data evaluation and visualization tools (Advanced Excel, Quickbase, SAP Business Objects, Crystal Reports, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, or equivalent)
General experience building complex models using multiple data sets to calculate TCO/cost savings/KPIs
Experience leading medium-scale corporate projects

Data Integration: Ability to facilitate data sharing between external customers and the Supply Chain team to create data structures that meet user requirements.
Multi-Source Data Collection: Ability to gather data from multiple and diverse sources while solving complex problems.
Time Management: Ability to prioritize work with minimal guidance and meet customer timelines while delivering high-quality work.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language to meet the needs of the role.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet job requirements.


Work Environment and Location

This role is offered as a work-from-home position, providing flexibility and autonomy in your work environment. Employees are expected to work within the region they support, which may require a combination of onsite company facilities and remote-based offices to perform job functions in a local area determined by business need. Each department will provide employees with guidance on when and where presence is needed, with as much notice as reasonably possible.

This position requires minimal travel, making it ideal for candidates seeking a balanced work-life arrangement while still maintaining connections with their team and organizational stakeholders.
