As a Senior Strategist for Google for Education, you'll play a pivotal role in bringing Google Workspace's transformative solutions to schools, universities, and educational institutions. You'll work closely with the Google for Education team and CDW Education stakeholders to identify opportunities, develop compelling value propositions, and drive growth. Key Responsibilities Develop a comprehensive understanding of Google Workspace for Education's capabilities and their potential applications in education, staying up-to-date on the latest trends and innovations in education technology, especially AI. Create compelling value propositions tailored to the specific needs of different educational stakeholders, including schools, teachers, and students. Design and develop content and presentations to promote Google Workspace in Education solutions, showcasing how they can address specific educational needs, such as enhancing collaboration, improving learning outcomes, and optimizing administrative processes. Build strong relationships with key decision-makers in the education sector, including school administrators, curriculum directors, technology leaders, and policymakers. Develop and execute targeted sales strategies for assigned territories or educational segments, such as K-12, higher education, private, and chartered institutions. Track sales activity and metrics, reporting on progress and opportunities, and analyze market data to measure the success of business development initiatives. Deliver compelling presentations that showcase the value proposition of Google Workspace's LLM solutions for specific educational needs. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: An advanced degree in education, education technology, or a related field. Strong public speaking experience at large education conferences and events. A proven track record of success in developing and executing go-to-market strategies. The ability to build strong relationships and navigate complex stakeholder environments. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. A passion for education and a strong belief in the transformative power of technology. A strong understanding of the education sector, its challenges, and decision-making processes. Self-motivation, results-oriented, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Proficiency in CRM software and sales methodologies. The ability to travel up to 50%. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge: Experience selling educational technology solutions. Knowledge of large language models or other AI applications in education. Proven success in building and managing strategic partnerships. Prior experience working with Google products or services. A minimum of 3 years of experience in business development or educational sales, with a proven track record of exceeding targets.
