Senior Strategic Document & Presentation Designer (Creative + Copywriting)
We’re seeking a talented designer-writer to create premium documents, newsletters, bulletins, strategic PowerPoint presentations, and curriculum packages. The ideal candidate combines advanced design and layout skills with strong aesthetics, graphic production, and creative direction — plus copywriting ability and research skills to craft well-informed, audience-appropriate messaging. Familiarity with AI-driven research tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini) and advanced Google research techniques is required to support content development.
Candidate must be able to support US Eastern timezone for part of working hours for collaboration and video touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver high-quality documents: reports, white papers, newsletters, bulletins, briefs, and curriculum packages.
- Create strategic PowerPoint presentations with clear structure, visual storytelling, custom graphics, icons, and data visualizations.
- Ensure all materials meet professional brand and quality standards: typography, layout, color, and imagery.
- Produce and edit copy as needed: headlines, executive summaries, calls-to-action, and supporting content with a consistent voice.
- Conduct targeted research using AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini), Google, and other resources to inform content, message framing, and learning objectives.
- Adapt materials for multiple formats (print-ready PDFs, slide decks, email newsletters, and web assets).
- Iterate quickly based on stakeholder feedback and deliver final files on schedule.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism appropriate for executive-level client engagements.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years experience designing professional communications, presentations, or learning materials for corporate, consulting, or professional services clients.
- Expert-level skills in PowerPoint; advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) or equivalent.
- Strong visual design sensibility and portfolio demonstrating polished, professional work with custom graphics and layouts.
- Solid copywriting skills and the ability to craft concise, persuasive messaging.
- Research competency, including demonstrated experience using AI-driven research tools (ChatGPT, Gemini) and advanced Google research to synthesize complex information.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills; comfortable collaborating with senior stakeholders.
Preferred
- Familiarity with brand templates, style guides, and producing print-ready files.
- Strong data visualization skills (charts, infographics).
Deliverables & Format Expectations
- Print-ready PDFs, editable PPTX files, source files (InDesign/Illustrator) when requested, and web/email-optimized assets.
- All deliverables must include high-resolution graphics, consistent typography, and a professional aesthetic suitable for executive audiences.
Pay: $500.00 - $1,000.00 per month
