About the Role
As a Senior Statistics Architect at arenaflex, you will play a pivotal role in transforming our Voice of the Customer program. You'll be responsible for designing and building robust data architecture that supports end-to-end customer feedback processing, from survey design and deployment to advanced analytics and dashboarding. This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and creative problem-solving skills.
Our Customer Listening Team manages over 5 million customer surveys annually across our Consumer, Business, and Service Provider segments. These surveys are delivered in more than 10 languages across 20+ countries, generating enormous volumes of valuable customer data. Your work will directly impact how we understand and serve our customers better.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture Design & Development: Design and build scalable data models and architectures that support efficient data processing and standardized metric definitions across the Voice of the Customer platform
Technology Implementation: Lead the development and maintenance of our next-generation VoC system, integrating with our survey and dashboard platform (Qualtrics) and cornerstone data infrastructure
Big Data Solutions: Develop and implement big data and batch/real-time analytical solutions using transformational technologies including Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python
Quality Assurance: Ensure data quality and accuracy through intensive testing at variable and use-case levels, implementing robust validation frameworks
Business Alignment: Work closely with application teams to define, frame, and capture business requirements, translating them into technical deliverables
Process Optimization: Proactively identify and automate manual tasks to improve quality and operational efficiency
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams from various business units to prioritize, define, develop, and test data solutions for diverse use cases
Technical Guidance: Provide mentorship and guidance to enhance team capabilities in data processing and analytics
Innovation Leadership: Drive consumer story analysis and elaboration, design and develop software programs, and build automation tools that transform how we leverage customer data
Essential Qualifications
Technical Expertise: Minimum 3+ years of hands-on development experience with Hive/Hadoop, PySpark, Python, and Shell scripting languages
Data Engineering Skills: Proven experience in development, launch management, and troubleshooting data-driven projects
Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies, including incremental product development and regular sprint cycles
Collaboration Experience: Demonstrated ability to work effectively with product owners, relationship managers, and business stakeholders to understand functional requirements
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to convert complex business requirements into elegant technical solutions
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Qualtrics or similar survey platforms
Knowledge of Voice of the Customer methodologies and frameworks
Experience with real-time data streaming technologies
Background in financial services or customer experience analytics
Experience working with global, cross-functional teams
Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Technical Skills Required
