Senior Specialist, GVI Essentials Business Process Improvement

We're looking for a Senior Specialist, GVI Essentials Business Process Improvement to help maintain and grow our Global Value Improvement (GVI) program—Boston Scientific's approach to continuous improvement across the business. You'll lead training, manage tools and governance, and support cross-functional efforts to strengthen performance, engagement, and long-term impact. Responsibilities • Conduct virtual and in-person training sessions on Global Value Improvement (GVI) programs; evaluate effectiveness to enhance organizational performance. • Develop and implement a train-the-trainer model to build internal training capabilities and ensure consistent knowledge transfer. • Manage and maintain the GVI Toolbox—including tools, templates, and best practices—in collaboration with subject matter experts, ensuring accuracy and relevance through established governance. • Provide training on the Essentials Strategic Assessment (ESA) tool, support annual assessments, and analyze outputs to inform GVI strategies. • Maintain records of ESA activities and outcomes; communicate key findings to stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic goals. • Oversee content and engagement for the GVI SharePoint site, driving visibility and awareness of GVI resources across the organization. • Partner with the GVI Council to promote cross-functional collaboration, share best practices, and align improvement initiatives. • Track progress and maintain dashboards for training and assessment activities to drive accountability and visibility. Requirements • Bachelor's degree or at least 3 years of relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in continuous improvement, process improvement, or a related field. • Demonstrated success implementing process improvements in business or transactional environments. • Experience coaching or mentoring individuals or teams to achieve performance goals. • Experience leading or supporting continuous improvement initiatives and engaging team members in the process. • Experience delivering training, facilitating group sessions, and communicating effectively in both written and verbal formats. • Experience working with cross-functional or diverse teams and contributing to change management initiatives.
