And we have fun doing it.Position OverviewOntic is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Solutions Consultant to support our Federal Government go-to-market motion. In this role, you will act as a technical advisor, solution expert, and commercial partner bridging the gap between our sales team and Federal clients to deliver tailored solutions that meet their unique requirements.You will work closely with account executives, key client stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure a consistent and seamless pre- and post-sale experience.Who You AreSomeone who embodies humility, effective intelligence, team ability, and adaptability in word and action. Key Responsibilities The Senior Solutions Consultant will be focused on supporting and scaling our work with clients and prospects in the Federal Government. Building and maintaining relationships, pre-sales discovery and solutions design, enabling Ontic and client success, and documenting feedback will be essential responsibilitiesSolution design and innovation, cross-functional collaboration, education and advocacy, and continually identifying opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and ensure consistency will also be essential across the boardAreas of FocusGather and assess customer business and technical needsDesign a technical solution to meet the clients technical and mission critical business requirementsIdentify client-specific constraints and possible barriers that impact a solutionUncover probable solution competitors and collaborate on deal strategyAlign innovative strategies to technology solutions within complex accountsContinuously build and present client-specific Ontic solutions to multiple stakeholdersPartner with Enterprise Account Executives to lead ongoing discovery, analysis, and recommendation of the preferred solutionCollaborate with internal stakeholders (product, professional services, implementation and success) to continue to understand the changing needs of the client for upsell and expansion opportunitiesAdditional ExpectationsParticipate in all appropriate product, sales, procedural training and certificationsParticipate in the Demo2Win workshop and ongoing trainingAbility to travel based on territory alignment and region Required Skills and Experience Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a SaaS software Solutions/Sales Consultant/EngineerMinimum of 2-3 years of experience as a SaaS software Solutions/Sales Consultant/Engineer, or similar role supporting federal government clientsExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively demo a SaaS platform to non-technical audiencesAbility to drive and connect the conversation to the business values Ontic can deliverStrong problem solving skills and a client-first mindsetAbility to work as part of a team to solve technical problems in varied environmentsPreferred QualificationsExperience working with corporate security teams with an understanding of corporate security needs, including their unique workflows, policies, and threat landscapesFamiliarity with federal agencies such as DoD, DHS, or civilian agenciesAccredited four year degree. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.) Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry and are one part of a total compensation package that also includes benefits and other perks at Ontic.
