Senior Software Engineer; Python - Remote Security Clearance

Position: Senior Software Engineer (Python) - Remote with Security Clearance Description The Work: ICF is looking for an enthusiastic Senior Software Engineer to join our team and help put quality API development at the heart of what we do. Your expertise toward developing an API product that empowers millions of healthcare enrollees to own their medical data. Job Location: This position requires that the job be performed in the United States. If you accept this position, you should note that ICF does monitor employee work locations and blocks access from foreign locations/foreign IP addresses and prohibits personal VPN connections. • Our core work hours are 11am - 4pm Eastern Time with the option of starting earlier or working later depending on your time zone. What You Will Do: • Create and manage Dashboards using AWS Quick Sight with both visuals (charts, graphs, etc...) as well as tables for end users to slice and dice data to gain insights to various business processes. • Demo work in both small and large virtual settings with clients and end users to obtain feedback on enhancing dashboards to meet business requirements. • Collaboration through Agile methodologies; collaborating with UX Designers & Researchers, backend engineers, FHIR specialists, and product owners to ensure solutions meet client needs with the highest quality. • Participate in code reviews in Git Hub and knowledge sharing, specifically when building solutions within a specific business domain that other team members may not work in. What You Will Bring With You: • Bachelor's degree; OR completion of 6+ weeks of a programming boot camp plus 1+ year of IT-related experience; OR 4 years of relevant industry experience without a formal degree • 5+ years of professional software development experience • 3+ years of experience working in python code development • 2+ years of experience working with tools like JIRA, Git Hub, and Confluence. • 2+ years of experience working on cloud platforms in AWS. • 1+ years of experience in Django administration • 1+ years of experience with one or more analytical and visualization software packages (such as Quick Sight, Power BI, Tableau and GIS software). • Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust • Candidate must reside in the U.S., be authorized to work in the U.S., and all work must be performed in the U.S. • Candidate must have lived in the U.S. for three (3) full years out of the last five (5) years What We Would Like You To Bring With You: • Master's degree • Prior experience in consulting or healthcare is an advantage but not essential.
