Senior Software Engineer (PHP, Laravel) (US Central Time)

PURPOSE: We are looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in PHP and Laravel to design, develop, and maintain high-quality, interactive web applications. The ideal candidate should be motivated, take ownership of their work, and be eager to contribute in a collaborative, Agile environment. Experience with React and Material Design is a plus. This role requires availability during US Central Time business hours. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE: • BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field. • 4–5 years of professional experience in software development, with strong hands-on expertise in PHP and Laravel. • Experience working with relational databases. • Excellent knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design principles. • Strong ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code. • Adept at developing highly interactive applications. • Outstanding communication skills. • Experience in an Agile development environment is a plus. • Familiarity with React and Material Design is preferred. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Software Development & Architecture: Develop and maintain robust backend systems using PHP (Laravel) and relational databases. Optimize applications for performance, reliability, and scalability. Contribute to architectural discussions and implementation of modular, maintainable code. • Front-End Development: Assist in developing front-end components using React and Material Design, where applicable. Ensure seamless integration between backend and frontend systems. • Collaboration & Communication: Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to gather requirements and provide updates.
