Senior Software Engineer Manager
Machine Learning Engineer (AI Systems) Hikaflow is building an AI-powered developer productivity platform focused on automated code review, security analysis, regression detection, contributor insights, and intelligent documentation. We are looking for a motivated Machine Learning Engineer who wants hands-on experience working on real production AI systems used by engineering teams. This is an internship designed for individuals who want deep, practical exposure to applied AI in a startup environment, strong portfolio material, and direct collaboration with the founding team. What You’ll Work On • Designing and improving ML-powered systems for code analysis, pattern detection, and developer insights • Working with LLMs for tasks such as code understanding, summarization, and automated review workflows • Building and evaluating data pipelines for model inputs and outputs • Improving signal quality, reducing false positives, and designing trustable AI outputs for engineers • Collaborating on system design decisions across ML, backend, and product What We’re Looking For • Background or strong interest in machine learning, AI, or data-driven systems • Familiarity with Python and common ML or AI tooling • Comfort working with APIs, structured data, and experimentation • Strong curiosity and willingness to learn quickly in an unstructured environment • Ability to work independently and take ownership of meaningful tasks Nice to Have (Not Required) • Experience with LLMs, embeddings, or prompt engineering • Experience analyzing or working with source code programmatically • Exposure to backend systems, developer tools, or SaaS products • Prior internships, research, or strong personal projects What You’ll Get • Real-world experience building AI systems used by actual teams • Direct mentorship and feedback from the founding team • Strong resume and portfolio material tied to concrete product features • Insight into how early-stage AI products are designed, built, and shipped Apply if you want to work on real AI systems and build something that matters.
