KCM is a privileged access management (PAM) tool that enables secure, credential-free connections to infrastructure. You’ll work on core backend components using C and C++, focusing on performance, reliability, and end-to-end security. The role requires deep experience with system-level development, secure communications, and real-time networking. ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement core KCM features in C and C++ with a focus on security, scalability, and reliabilityWork with secure protocols and encrypted communication channelsOptimize performance and resource consumption for real-time remote access servicesContribute to the design and architecture of new KCM capabilities and integrationsParticipate in agile development cycles including sprint planning, estimation, and deliveryCollaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, QA, and product teams to deliver high-impact solutions.Maintain and extend unit, integration, and system-level tests to ensure code quality.Requirements7+ years of professional experience in C and C++ development, with systems-level programming experience.5+ years of experience in full-stack software development, including Java, JavaScript, and database technologies.Strong knowledge of OS internals, networking, and multi-threaded application design.Familiarity with secure protocols and technologies including SSH, RDP, VNC, and TLS.Experience with cloud environments and DevOps tools.Demonstrated experience with secure coding practices and encryption implementations.Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).Due to this role’s involvement in GovCloud, all applicants must be a U.S. Person (citizen or lawful permanent resident).BenefitsMedical, Dental Vision (Inclusive of domestic partnerships)Employer Paid Life Insurance Employee/Spouse/Child Supplemental lifeVoluntary Short/Long Term Disability Insurance401k (Roth/Traditional)A generous PTO plan that celebrates your commitment and seniority (including paid Bereavement/Jury Duty, etc)Above market annual bonusesKeeper Security, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and participant in the U.S. Federal E-Verify program.
