What You’ll Do Evolve our CI/CD platforms with a focus on infrastructure automation and security to provide faster, more reliable, and secure deployment pipelines. Design, build, and maintain our core cloud infrastructure on our primary cloud provider (GCP). Develop and manage our container orchestration platform (Kubernetes) to ensure reliability, scalability, and efficiency. Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate the provisioning and configuration of our cloud resources. Autonomously lead well-defined, multi-month infrastructure projects ensuring the stability and performance of our production environments. Collaborate with product engineering teams to understand their infrastructure needs, providing guidance and building solutions that support their services. Champion and implement best practices for cloud security and system reliability across the organization. Contribute to the team's roadmap and strategy by identifying opportunities for high-impact improvements. What We’re Looking For 5+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, with a demonstrated focus on backend, infrastructure, or SRE. Deep, hands-on experience with a major cloud provider (GCP, AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi). Solid understanding of CI/CD systems (e.g., BuildKite, GitHub Actions, CircleCI) and how they relate to infrastructure deployment. Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Go, Python, Bash). A collaborative mindset with a passion for building reliable and scalable systems. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Bonus Points Experience building internal developer platforms or portals. Familiarity with observability and monitoring platforms (e.g., Chronosphere, Prometheus, Grafana).
