Senior Software Engineer - Enterprise WordPress
Description: Join WordPress VIP, the enterprise division of Automattic. Build and maintain scalable, secure content experiences. Develop enterprise-ready WordPress plugins Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders. Implement monitoring, alerting, and automation to improve observability, reliability, and security of products. Perform on-call duties as part of a globally distributed team.Requirements: Deep, demonstrable knowledge of modern WordPress development and Gutenberg block development and its internal APIs. Skilled in React, PHP, and the WordPress ecosystem. Experience working with a large-scale system to make it faster, more scalable, and more fault-tolerant. Highly collaborative, with a strong enthusiasm for participating in code reviews and discussions about architecture, technical design, and solving customer problems. Knowledgeable about design patterns and testability; experienced with testing frameworks, performance testing, and unit testing is very welcome. Customer-focused mindset, with good instincts on product design and user experience.
