With our recent $75M Series C funding, we’re growing fast to make AI accessible across all products.THE ROLEAs a Senior Software Engineer on the Core Product team at Baseten, you'll be building and maintaining the core Baseten product, enabling users to deploy & get value from ML models as easily as possible. As a developer-oriented product, we have a massive surface area, including all of our CLI tools, REST APIs, and the web application. The Core Product team is at the forefront of all new product development at the company.EXAMPLE INITIATIVESYou'll get to work on these types of projects as part of our Core Product team: Chains for multi-component workflowsAsynchronous inferenceModel APIs for frontier modelsModel training built for production inferenceRESPONSIBILITIESOwn and lead projects and areas of the productMentor & develop junior engineersDesign ergonomic APIs and abstractions to solve customer problems.
