This role is open in South AfricaPosition: Senior Social Media Marketing and Events Coordinator (Remote)Hours: 1:00 AM - 9:00AM SASTPay Rate: R28 000 - R34 000 per month (Negotiable based on Experience) Role Overview:The Senior Social Media Marketing and Events Coordinator is responsible for developing and executing engaging social media campaigns and coordinating virtual and in-person events. This role focuses on building brand awareness, growing social media engagement, and managing the client’s event calendar. With a creative flair and a strategic mindset, the ideal candidate will be experienced in social media management and event coordination within a fast-paced environmentRequirementsKey Responsibilities: Social Media Strategy & Content Creation: Develop and implement social media strategies that align with the client’s brand objectives, creating compelling content for platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and others. Community Engagement: Engage with followers, respond to inquiries, and monitor social media channels to build and maintain an active online community. Event Coordination: Plan and coordinate virtual and in-person events, including workshops, product launches, and client meetups. Brand Collaboration & Partnerships: Identify and build relationships with influencers and potential partners to expand social media reach and brand presence. Analytics & Reporting: Monitor and report on social media and event performance, using insights to optimise future campaigns. Budget Management: Manage social media and event budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources. Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging social media platforms to keep strategies innovative and effective. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in social media marketing, content creation, and event coordination. Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices. Proven track record in managing successful social media campaigns and events. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in design tools and social media scheduling tools. Analytical mindset with experience in tracking and reporting metrics. Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and a keen eye for detail.
