About Apple's Services Engineering (ASE) Team The Apple Services Engineering (ASE) team is a group of talented engineers who power Apple's services, including the App Store, Apple TV, Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, and Apple Books. We design, build, and operate large-scale systems that deliver high-quality entertainment to over 150 countries in more than 35 languages. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and operate scalable, secure, and reliable systems that meet Apple's high standards Collaborate with development teams to deliver high-quality services and features Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a fast-paced environment Develop and implement automation tools and scripts to improve system efficiency and reliability Participate in on-call rotations and provide 24/7 support for critical systems Contribute to the development of new services and features, and help shape the technical direction of the ASE team Work closely with other teams, including development, operations, and security, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of services Essential Qualifications At least 4 years of experience in a reliability engineering, DevOps, or system-centered role High-level proficiency in programming languages, such as GoLang, Python, or Java Strong understanding of system design, architecture, and scalability Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Experience with automation tools, such as Puppet, Ansible, or Spinnaker Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, networking protocols, and cloud computing Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks Preferred Qualifications Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Kubernetes) Knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks Experience with monitoring and logging tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Strong understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git) What We Offer A competitive salary range of $28-$40 per hour Opportunities for career growth and professional development Collaborative and dynamic work environment Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options Access to cutting-edge technologies and tools Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off Why Join Apple?
