Core Responsibilities: Develop new and enhance existing application servicesWriting tests to maintain code qualityUnderstand and adapt to our client's evolving business requirements within the television advertising domain.Participate in detailed technical design sessions to understand client needs and provide productive feedbackIdentify new opportunities, tools, and services to enhance the software platformSupport and troubleshoot issues, identify the root cause, and proactively recommend corrective actions Skills & Experience: Scala 2.13+ development experiencePassionate about developing clean and maintainable code with little or no side-effectsExperience building Restful APIs and applications Solid hands-on experience with Cloud Technologies; AWS a plusExperience with relational and non-relational databasesExperience working with Play Framework a plusHands-on experience with Slick Library a plusExperience with GraphQL a plusWillingness to learn new technologies and takes pride in keeping up with the latest technologies and practices within the Scala development communityExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsSelf-directed and can effectively deliver solutions with little oversightBachelor's or master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical disciplines; or equivalent work experienceis preferred but not required Preferred but not Required Hands-on experience with SangriaHands-on experience with the GraphQL libraryExperience with Pekko (or Akka) streamsWorking experience with KafkaHands-on experience with AWS Fargate, Lambda, SQS, EventBridge Salary is commensurate with experience.
