Our largest Evoqua site in Germany is located in Günzburg, where approximately 250 employees develop and manufacture state-of-the-art systems for chlorine-based water disinfection, online measurement and control technology, as well as ultrapure water systems for laboratory and industrial applications.Xylem is seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Senior Sales Manager EMEA (m/f/d) – Ultrapure Water / EDI & LAB to lead and accelerate growth of our Ultrapure Water (EDI & LAB) product lines within the Treatment Solutions portfolio across the EMEA region.This role combines strategic leadership with a strong execution focus and full accountability for delivering profitable growth across a defined business segment. You will lead a regional team and drive commercial excellence across both direct sales and channel partner networks.Your Responsibilities: Own and deliver an ambitious sales growth plan across the EMEA region, ensuring above-market, profitable growthLead, coach, and develop regional teamsDrive execution of strategic growth initiatives and commercial projects across EMEADefine and execute go-to-market strategies via both direct sales and channel partnersIdentify, develop, and convert new business opportunities while expanding existing key accountsBuild and implement targeted sales strategies for key verticals (e.g., Pharma, Energy, Semiconductor, Industrial Water Treatment)Ensure accurate sales forecasting and maintain a strong, sustainable pipeline (including SIOP reporting)Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product Management, R&D, Operations, Technical Support, and Customer ServiceMonitor market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments to identify growth opportunitiesRepresent Xylem at industry events, trade shows, and customer engagements across EMEA and international marketsDrive effective opportunity and funnel management using CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred)Ensure profitable deal structures while protecting regional and global margin targetsPrepare and present structured business updates, forecasts, and strategic insights to global leadershipFoster strong collaboration across business units and regions to leverage synergiesConduct regular performance reviews and support talent development within the teamYour Profile:Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field (preferred)12+ years of experience in water treatment sales7–10 years of leadership experience in sales or business development rolesProven experience in leading regional teams, ideally including Business Development ManagersStrong expertise in deionized/ultrapure water applications (EDI & LA highly desirable)Established network within relevant industries and customer segmentsExperience across key markets such as Pharma, Power, Semiconductor (MicroE), and Industrial Water TreatmentProven track record of closing complex, high-value dealsStrong customer focus with expertise in solution selling and relationship managementExcellent leadership, communication, and presentation skillsHigh level of accountability, ownership, and results orientationProficiency in CRM systems (ideally Microsoft Dynamics) and Microsoft Office toolsFluent in English and at least one additional European languageWillingness to travel up to 50% across the EMEA regionWhy Join Xylem Work on projects that support critical water infrastructure and sustainabilityHigh-impact role with strong organizational visibilityCollaborative, innovation-driven cultureOpportunities for professional growth within a global organizationAutonomy paired with strong leadership supportcompetitive total rewards package that supports employee wellbeing, growth, and work-life balance, tailored to local market practiceFor questions about this position, please contact Ward Barbar, Talent Acquisition Partner, Europe, at +49 172 6976222.Everyone is Welcome Xylem is an equal opportunity employer.
