This role combines the analytical skills of a Requirements Analyst with the leadership and organizational skills of a Project Manager to ensure successful project outcomes. The ideal candidate will be able to seamlessly transition between understanding client needs and managing project timelines, resources, and deliverables.Position SummaryWe are seeking a Requirements Analyst / Project Team member with direct experience in D-SNP and Medi-Cal programs. This client facing role is responsible for translating complex regulatory requirements into clear business and technical solutions while managing projects through successful delivery.This role is structured as a temporary W-2 position for up to 11 months. While not guaranteed, there may be opportunities for extension or future consideration based on performance and business needs.Key ResponsibilitiesGather, analyze, and document requirements aligned with CMS, D-SNP, and Medi-Cal regulationsTranslate regulatory and operational needs into functional and technical specificationsManage projects from initiation through completion, including timelines, risks, and deliverablesMaintain alignment between business goals, compliance requirements, and system designLead cross-functional collaboration across business, compliance, and technical teamsSupport testing, validation, and implementation activitiesMaintain requirement traceability and ensure delivery accuracyRequired ExperienceDemonstrated experience with D-SNP and/or Medi-Cal programsExperience within a health plan, TPA, or healthcare services organizationWorking knowledge of claims processing, enrollment and eligibility, care coordination, and regulatory reporting (e.g., HEDIS, encounter data)Experience interpreting and applying CMS requirements, state Medicaid (Medi-Cal) requirements, and Medicare-Medicaid integration modelsCore CompetenciesAbility to manage both requirements analysis and project executionStrong stakeholder communication and alignment skillsAbility to translate complex regulatory requirements into clear deliverablesStrong organizational and problem-solving capabilitiesQualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceMinimum 3+ years in business requirements analyst or similar rolePreferred ToolsZendesk, Microsoft Project, Monday.com, or similar toolsMicrosoft Excel and PowerPointWhat Success Looks LikeRequirements are clear, complete, and actionableProjects are delivered on time with minimal reworkRegulatory requirements are accurately implementedTeams remain aligned and informed throughout delivery
