About the Role

As a key member of our Silicon Development team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the reliability and quality of our custom silicon designs, from concept to production. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to develop and implement robust reliability testing and validation processes, guaranteeing that our products meet the highest standards of performance, power efficiency, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities


Collaborate with global organizations to drive semiconductor planning and contribution with the Reliability and Quality/Product Planning position.
Develop and implement reliability testing and validation processes for new products, ensuring top-notch quality and reliability.
Utilize your expertise in JEDEC reliability and quality-related standards, ISO, and the underlying science to inform design and testing decisions.
Analyze failure mechanisms for silicon/package technologies and develop strategies for mitigating risk.
Support the evaluation of supplier objections, materials, and processes, driving continuous improvement.
Lead suppliers in the areas of silicon Fab process/package/assembly, test, and reliability monitoring, ensuring seamless execution.
Develop and implement process flows, judgments, and supplier performance metrics (process Cpk, yield, capacity report, etc.).
Prepare and execute First Article Inspection (FAI) to support supplier readiness before production stage.
Travel is expected for this role, allowing you to engage with suppliers and partners directly.


Essential Qualifications

To excel in this role, you'll need:


A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Materials Science).
A minimum of 3+ years of relevant industry experience in custom silicon development, reliability engineering, or a related field.
Strong understanding of silicon product-level reliability capability and lifetime projection models.
Experience with JEDEC reliability and quality-related standards, ISO, and the underlying science.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.


Preferred Qualifications

To stand out as an ideal candidate, you'll have:


Experience with semiconductor manufacturing processes, including Fab process, packaging, and assembly.
Knowledge of hardware configurations and testing methodologies (e.g., normal, ESD, Attach).
Familiarity with process streams, judgments, and supplier performance metrics.
Experience with FAI preparation and execution.
A proven track record of driving supplier improvement and development.
