Veeva Systems is looking for a Release Engineer to join our rapidly growing team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will be highly technical, motivated, and efficient.What You’ll DoWork closely with Vault Engineering and Technical Operations to support the existing release and change management processExecute and manage deployment activities for each sprintManage risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule, and qualityCollaborate with key Development and Quality Assurance stakeholders in developing and executing a robust test and release processFacilitate resolution of deployment problems with Development, Quality Assurance and Technical OperationsProactively identify, recommend, and implement software release process improvements to maximize efficiencyRequirementsFamiliarity with Linux, scripting language (eg Python, bash, ruby) , CICD.Experience with AWS Proficient with CI tools such as JenkinsExperience with source code version control systems such as Git Solid understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologiesExperience in release engineering for an organization with large and complex applicationsEstablishes and maintains good working relationships with other Engineering and Technical Operations teamsFlexibility and adaptability towards changes in assignments and work schedulesPride in work through attention to detailWorks under minimal supervision with extensive latitude for initiative and independent judgmentComputer Science or related bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experienceNice to HaveExperience working in the Health Sciences and Lifecare industryParticipation in Code Hackathons and other open source community activitiesPerks & BenefitsHealth insurance with generous coverage limitsFixed cash bonusAllowance for wellness & fitness programsWinter breakVeeva’s headquarters is located in the San Francisco Bay Area with offices in more than 15 countries around the world.Veeva is an equal opportunity employer.
