Role:-Senior Reinsurance Report Developer (Remote) Location:-Remote Visa:-USC/GC Duration:-6 Months Interview:- Phone/Skype Must Have ⦁ QlikSense ⦁ SQL ⦁ NPrinting Summary: ⦁ Leads and supports the transition and development from current reporting processes to streamlined, time saving simplified solutions. The Developer works closely with the business to understand current processes and requirements to lead and assist in the development of dynamic reporting solutions and analytics. The solutions will involve utilizing SQL to improve the efficiency of current Cognos queries and consolidate multiple queries into one leveraging multiple sources. Reporting efficiencies and analytics will be developed via transition to QlikSense and enhanced data access. This position reports to the Senior Director Reinsurance Operations. Responsibilities: ⦁ Gain a full understanding of current reporting and analytical processes in order to formulate best practices and dynamic solutions. ⦁ Be the thought leader with regard to potential solutions, incorporating leading technologies that will significantly reduce the FTE workload. ⦁ Partner with Reinsurance Operations management to ensure solutions will meet the expected returns, SOX controls, and internal compliance. ⦁ Develop an end state solution and the road map to achieve it within the stated delivery timeframe. ⦁ Lead the development of the reporting and analytic solutions. ⦁ Assist the ceded reinsurance operations team in the development of their SQL and QlikSense skills during the development and user acceptance testing. ⦁ Ensure complete knowledge transfer occurs in order for Reinsurance Operations to create, maintain, and enhance the solutions. ⦁ Develop a working relationship with ceded reinsurance operations team and appropriate IT team members. Experience: ⦁ Translate business needs to technical specifications ⦁ Design, build and deploy reporting solutions using Excel, SQL and QlikSense ⦁ Create tools to store data for use in reporting/analytic solutions ⦁ Create database connections within QlikSense ⦁ Conduct testing and troubleshooting ⦁ Evaluate and improve existing financial analytics dashboards ⦁ Collaborate with business and technology teams to integrate systems ⦁ Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses ⦁ Create visualizations and reports for requested projects ⦁ Develop and update technical documentation Apply tot his job
