About the Role As a Senior Red Team Operator, you will be an integral part of our Red Team, conducting sophisticated adversary emulation operations against real-world targets in diverse environments. You'll leverage your technical expertise and leadership skills to design, develop, and execute complex red team operations, driving the discovery of vulnerabilities and enhancing our cybersecurity posture. Key Responsibilities Lead, develop, and plan Red Team engagements using technical knowledge and subject matter expertise in relation to adversarial threats. Develop scenarios and artifacts that mimic real-world adversary groups for simulated testing, ensuring comprehensive coverage of potential attack vectors. Chain vulnerabilities together and move through an environment undetected, pushing the boundaries of our cybersecurity defenses. Create comprehensive technical reports and presentations for customers, providing actionable insights and remediation recommendations. Conduct independent vulnerability research to discover new vulnerabilities, creating training materials and opportunities to communicate technical topics to technicians and management. Improve team trade-craft, techniques, procedures, infrastructure, and tooling, driving continuous improvement and innovation. Participate in tabletop exercises, purple teaming, and threat analysis, staying ahead of emerging threats and vulnerabilities. Develop and deliver training related to adversaries and new technologies, enhancing the skills and knowledge of our team. Provide support and mentorship to other Red Team Operators, fostering a culture of collaboration and expertise. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 10 years of Cyber Security experience, with a strong background in Security Analysis, Security Consulting, Incident Response, Pen Testing, or related fields. 5 years of hands-on experience on the keyboard during multiple Red Team engagements, demonstrating your expertise in adversary emulation. Eligibility to obtain Public Trust Clearance, ensuring your ability to work with sensitive information. Preferred Qualifications To stand out, you'll ideally have: Experience with Exploit Development in Operating System environments, showcasing your ability to identify and exploit vulnerabilities. Knowledge of Social Engineering and related Psychology disciplines, understanding the human factor in cybersecurity. Familiarity with Wireless and Radio Frequency technologies, such as Bluetooth and 802.11, expanding your technical expertise. Understanding of Cloud Technologies and Web Application Technologies, staying current with the latest technological advancements. Experience with OPSEC-focused Infrastructure Implementation, including Docker, Redirectors, and Mail Servers, as well as Active Directory and Authentication-Type Technologies like Okta and SAML. Excellent skills in reverse engineering malware, data obfuscation, or encryption, demonstrating your technical prowess. Skills and Competencies To excel as a Senior Red Team Operator, you'll need: Strong technical knowledge and subject matter expertise in cybersecurity and adversary emulation. Leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to mentor and support other team members. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to various audiences.
