As a Senior Project Success Manager you will join our Customer Success team onsite in our Carson, CA office to deliver robotic systems and solutions to customers, ensuring customer success, and driving growth within the customer account. You’ll work with customers to ensure they receive the most value from our products and services, partner closely with our engineering team, internal sales team, external vendors and deployment teams to deliver robotics solutions to our customers.Role & ResponsibilitiesLead the end-to-end delivery of automation projects including gathering and defining customer requirements, scheduling, scope definition, and project implementation plans ensuring alignment with established goals, timelines, and quality standardsProactively monitor project progress, identify and mitigate potential risks, resolve conflicts, and escalate issues as neededCoordinate internal and external resources across functional departments (Product, Deployment, Sales, Customer Success, Engineering, Leadership), including client stakeholders to maintain project scope and schedule to launch cutting-edge robotic solutionsManage client and internal stakeholder relationships, facilitate change requests, and ensure stakeholders remain informed on impacts to scheduleDrive PMO processes across multiple concurrent projectsAnalyze client production processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for automation or robot/human interactionReview technical drawings, specifications, and other project documentation and provide input as neededTravel to customer sites (~10% annually) for project needsObtain customer acceptance of project deliverables and manage customer satisfaction during transition periods.Minimum QualificationsBS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related engineering field5+ years of industry experience in project success management or related fieldProven track record of analyzing customers' existing production processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunitiesProven experience in developing robust project documentation, including requirements, specifications, and deliverablesExperience working in production or manufacturing environmentsDemonstrated success in end-to-end project implementation1+ years of industry experience in a customer-facing role, managing client communications and expectations professionallyAbility to develop a deep understanding of customer use cases and effectively communicate their value to internal teamsStrong communication and collaboration skills across multiple teamsWillingness to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing prioritiesPreferred Qualifications8+ years of industry experience driving process improvements in manufacturing, robotics or related fieldAbility to effectively track, organize, and manage projects using digital tools similar but not limited to (e.g. Jira, Asana, Trello, Monday.com)DisclaimerGrayMatter Robotics provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
