The Senior Construction Project Manager works as part of Sevan's program management team managing a ground up construction program for our Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) client. The Senior Project Manager acts as an extension of an owners design, construction and maintenance staff overseeing the work of general contractors, designers and vendors on behalf of the client teams. The Senior Project Manager directly manages and monitors project work both in the field and in the office.

Travel: This is a remote based position with recurring travel on-site to project locations across, but not limited to, the Carolinas and Virginia markets. Travel required (40-60%) on an as needed basis up to and including weekly site visits. Multi-shift work may be required to accomplish work in active retail locations to meet aggressive schedules.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Support the Project Executive or Operations Director in developing project proposals, budgets, schedules, and resource plans.
Lead and coordinate project teams to ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and to client standards.
Serve as the primary client contact, proactively communicating project updates and resolving issues.
Source, negotiate, and manage contractors, subcontractors, and third-party providers.
Oversee estimating, bidding, permitting, and contract administration.
Manage project changes, documentation, and reporting in alignment with Sevans standards and best practices.
Implement Sevan technology solutions to enhance project delivery.
Conduct project kickoffs and lessons-learned reviews to drive continuous improvement.
Represent Sevan in client and project meetings, fostering strong relationships with clients, partners, and vendors.
Anticipate challenges and develop solutions to minimize risk and ensure project success.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Construction Management or a related field, or 1015 years of relevant experience.
Proven expertise in construction project management, with strong knowledge of all phases from preconstruction through closeout.
Experience managing retail or restaurant construction programs including remodels, refreshes, and multi-site rollouts required.
Ground-up construction experience is a strong plus.
Exceptional communication skills with clients, contractors, and project teams at all levels.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
PMP certification preferred.

Pay & Benefits: The anticipated compensation range for the position is $120,000 - $135,000 is based on a full-time schedule, market and business conditions, and is commensurate on individual education, qualifications, and experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurances, flexible paid time off, paid holidays, sick time, and a matching 401K plan.
