We're now seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Channel Experience team, working remotely, to drive business success and deliver exceptional customer experiences across various channels, including Drive-through, Mobile Order and Pay, Café, and Delivery. About the Role As a Senior Project Manager on our Channel Experience team, you will play a critical role in developing and delivering strategic projects that enable our partners to provide the most consistent and exceptional customer experiences. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across Store Operations, Finance, Store Technology, and Store Development to drive channel change and create moments of delight for our customers. Key Responsibilities Prioritization and Planning: Act as a strategic thought partner to prioritize and plan work, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations. Lead the development of program timelines and identify required resources. Collaboration and Communication: Drive decision-making across the organization through effective collaboration and communication with stakeholders, ensuring alignment and buy-in. Clearly articulate project status, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders. Business Acumen and Problem-Solving: Contribute to project success by planning and utilizing talent and resources in an effective and efficient manner, driving business outcomes and customer satisfaction. Lead project teams and cross-functional teams to develop and implement new projects and process enhancements. Manage projects according to Starbucks' established program management methodologies, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence. Oversee project schedules, progress, and expenses to ensure that expected outcomes are delivered on time and within budget. Maintain, modify, and update project plans as necessary to reflect changing business needs. Unify, communicate, and ensure resolution of all issues, driving project momentum and success. Support the development and collection of performance metrics to measure project success and business impact. Represent the Channel business, department, or functional area in cross-functional project teams, providing subject matter expertise and insights. Provide Channel expertise to assess potential financial and operational impact, driving informed decision-making. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: A passion for driving Inclusion and Diversity, fostering a culture of belonging and respect. Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring high-quality deliverables and project outcomes. Experience utilizing project management expertise to drive work forward, leveraging methodologies and best practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Project. The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, to diverse stakeholders. The capacity to adapt to multiple priorities and meet deadlines, demonstrating flexibility and resilience. The ability to utilize Change Management skills to inform performance and drive business outcomes. Preferred Qualifications To further enhance your candidacy, you will ideally have: Experience managing large-scale or multiple medium-sized projects, driving business growth and customer satisfaction. Coaching experience, developing and mentoring high-performing teams. General business experience in large, matrixed organizations, navigating complex stakeholder landscapes. Retail experience, understanding the nuances of customer-facing operations. PMP certification, demonstrating expertise in project management methodologies and best practices.
