Responsibilities
• Work effectively as part of the senior management team from a company-wide perspective.
• Attend managerial meetings and present comprehensive reports on departmental performance.
• Manage the department and team, ensuring adherence to best practices and maximizing profitability.
• Build relationships with stakeholders, influencers, and decision-makers in projects.
• Engage with clients early to address project requirements and expectations.
• Identify potential commercial risks and report them promptly to the Board.
• Ensure project programs are detailed and timelines are followed.
• Implement robust resourcing plans across projects.
• Formulate logistics plans for project execution.
• Prepare necessary safety documentation and oversee design compliance.
Requirements
• Construction-related college degree or equivalent; construction science or engineering degree preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years' experience in a senior management role in construction.
• Expertise in roofing, cladding, and façade methods including safety codes.
• Proven track record of successful project completion.
• Budget management experience and strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated financial and business development acumen.
• Effective communication and supervisory skills.
• Experience managing medium to large scale projects successfully.
• Excellent people management and interpersonal skills.
• High level of computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
