Senior Program Specialist Responsibilities
Ā Communicate directly with event stakeholders to maintain relationships and be a trusted advisor.
Ā Develop, manage, and execute communication plans for assigned events.
Ā Create and present overall budgets for events, maintaining cost-effectiveness.
Ā Organize programs to meet event specifications, including budgeting, site selection, and contract negotiations.
Ā Oversee event delivery strategies to align with business objectives and core values.
Ā Lead weekly calls with clients and event management teams to maintain event timelines.
Senior Program Specialist Qualifications
Ā Minimum of five years of senior event planning experience with increasing responsibility.
Ā Superb project management skills, initiative, and creativity.
Ā Strategic marketing and events leadership experience.
Ā Demonstrated success in managing high-budget events with multiple stakeholders.
Ā Ability to establish and nurture client relationships.
Ā Experienced senior advisor capable of gaining the trust of key stakeholders/clients.
Ā Must be able to travel (20%-30%) and stay over during events
Ā Occasion trips to Canada - possibly Europe and the Caribbean
