As a Senior Production Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of owned brand products, driving continuous improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. Key Responsibilities Ensure suppliers deliver protected and quality owned brand products by leveraging expertise in product compliance, quality, and regulatory requirements. Develop and implement proactive and preventive quality assurance and control measures, driving start-to-end results through various programs. Assess and resolve product and process issues, backing continuous improvement of manufacturing processes. Conduct alignment activities on processes or products with third-party vendors and BPQI (Colleague Quality Inspector). Determine critical processes to quality and controls to prevent or mitigate potential issues/risks. Support escalation, attitude, and CAPA reviews for continuous improvement, embracing visitor expectations. Review data and conduct statistical analysis, utilizing insights to identify opportunities for alignment, continuous improvement, and problem-solving. Drive cost reduction through quality improvement initiatives, focusing on greater efficiency and right-first-time quality. Approve plant's work with sound quality processes and manufacturing capabilities before producing for Target. Ensure program assumptions and quality assurance requirements are recognized prior to production start. Verify that all products meet safety and regulatory requirements and Target performance standards. Raise plant performance through technical support, driving continuous improvement of manufacturing and quality processes. Influence independent decision-making and address business needs through active engagement with partners. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: A four-year degree in engineering or 4+ years of experience in consumer products. A foundation in consumer product manufacturing, quality, and technical/engineering aspects. At least 4 years of experience in the consumer product industry (compliance/manufacturing, Quality management, material substance, and product). Knowledge of quality tools such as RCA/Fishbone/Lean/Six Sigma/Industrial Engineering. Experience in line setup and successful relational skills with strong interpersonal abilities. A cooperative focus and ability to work effectively across functional areas and collaboration. Proficiency in English and local language. Programming knowledge, data analysis, and statistical skills, including Microsoft Windows and Office applications. Availability to travel 80% of the time.
