Please note: this job is Europe remoteThe job in short:As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you are the critical facilitator of product knowledge within Backbase, ensuring our global go-to-market is executed successfully and product information is always up to date and ready for use by customer-facing teams. You ensure alignment, strategic positioning and messaging of the Backbase product portfolio for Retail Banking Wealth and collaterals created by other Product Managers.Meet the job:You’ll join our fast-paced, diverse and highly skilled global GTM team as a well-rounded Solution Marketer. Your chief responsibilities will include becoming the subject matter expert in Backbase products for the Retail Banking Wealth space as well as creating differentiated positioning, messaging and GTM strategies that help us grow our footprint in these lines of business.You’ll frequently collaborate with teams across the business, like sales enablement, demand generation, field marketing, growth marketing, sales and solution engineering to gather market insights and create content that enables Backbase to run global and local campaigns targeting retail banking and wealth business leaders.You will:Build a deep understanding of our customers’ pains and needs, the market, lines of business and the competition across all the regions in which Backbase does businessCreate Go-To-Market strategies and plans for your area and work with stakeholders across the company to bring them to life (marketing, partners, sales, services, product) Define segmentation, use cases/scenarios, buyer personas and value propositions and use them to build repeatable sales plays aligned to specific lines of businessManage and create content to support Retail Banking Wealth motions including whitepapers, solution briefs, presentations, customer success stories, blog posts, ebooks, webinars, and more Partner with Sales Enablement to develop effective materials and tools to support the sales process Work with the product team to uncover new markets, scenarios and use cases, define new offers and influence roadmap decisions Validate hypotheses through customer interviews, analyst inquiries, data analysis, and testing Locate and leverage market trends and product opportunities to help improve Backbase’s offer and position Watch competitive activities, identifying gaps and opportunitiesHow about you:You have 7+ years of experience in B2B software product or performance marketing required4+ years of experience in product marketing or related area in multi-use case, B2B platforms and/or SaaSExperience in banking / financial services / fintech is a plus but not requiredNative or native-level, writing, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to persuade, inspire and motivate others.Ability to grasp complex, technical subjects and make them easy to understand;Originally posted on Himalayas
