About the Role This Senior Product Manager position is responsible for managing and enhancing products and services across the Virtual Network Services (VNS) portfolio, with a focus on SD-WAN, SASE, and related product development. You'll play a pivotal role in driving the growth, management, and innovation of these advanced network solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Key Responsibilities Define Product Strategy and Roadmap : Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for the VNS portfolio, aligning with company goals and market demands. Market Research and Competitive Analysis : Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning for SD-WAN, SASE, and other VNS products. Go-to-Market Planning : Collaborate with marketing, sales, pricing, and operations teams to develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans, product positioning strategies, and product launches. Product Metrics and Performance : Define, track, and report product metrics to stakeholders, ensuring data-driven decision-making and product optimization. Technical Collaboration : Work closely with engineering and network teams to translate customer requirements into technical specifications, driving innovation and product development. Product Lifecycle Management : Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and concept development through design, feature prioritization, development, testing, launch, and post-launch management. Agile Methodologies : Utilize Agile or similar frameworks to ensure iterative progress on product features and functionality. Customer Acquisition and Retention : Drive customer acquisition and retention rates through strong product adoption and customer satisfaction. Service-Level Agreements (SLAs) : Define performance SLAs and ensure that product performance and availability meet required standards. Cross-Functional Leadership : Lead cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, marketing, and sales, to ensure alignment and successful execution of product strategy. Communication and Reporting : Communicate with leadership and provide regular updates to executives on product performance and strategic direction. What We're Looking For To succeed in this role, you'll need: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience : A Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience. Relevant Work Experience : Six or more years of relevant work experience, with a focus on product management in Virtual Network Services (VNS), Software Defined Networking (SDN), advanced networking, or telecommunications products. Product Management Experience : Experience with product development and/or management lifecycle, product roadmaps, and project management. Technical and Commercial Understanding : Both technical and commercial understanding of the network business, with a deep data and analytic orientation for evidence-based decision-making. Even better if you have: Advanced Degree : A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent field. Cross-Functional Leadership Experience : Experience leading cross-functional teams and motivating/inspiring them to achieve exceptional results. Verizon Product Knowledge : Understanding of Verizon domestic and global product offerings across MNS and SD-WAN portfolio. Project Management Experience : Experience prioritizing and executing multiple projects simultaneously. Work Environment and Company Culture As a remote-based role with a hybrid work arrangement, you'll have the flexibility to work from home while still being connected to a dynamic team. You'll be expected to work a minimum of eight assigned office days per month, as set by your manager. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive compensation package, with a salary range of $119,000 to $241,000 annually, depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience.
