Senior Product Manager - Risk

As a Senior Product Manager in Risk, you’ll craft the systems that protect Mercury and its customers while enabling secure financial journeys. Banking services provided through Choice Financial Group, Column N.A., and Evolve Bank Trust, Members FDIC.What You'll Do:Design and implement the strategic vision for Mercury's risk enablement Create user journeys that apply appropriate nudges based on risk signals while minimizing disruption to legitimate customer activityDevelop self-service resolution paths that empower customers to navigate risk-related obstacles with minimal manual interventionBuild the operational tools that enable our risk and support teams to efficiently manage exceptions and high-touch casesPartner with data science to develop and deploy risk models that continuously improve through feedback loopsEstablish and track metrics that measure both risk effectiveness and customer experience impactSupport the development of API strategies that allow Mercury's risk capabilities to scale across our expanding product suiteWhat You Bring:7+ years of product management experience, ideally with experience in risk or operational product managementDesire to build exceptional customer experiences that are 10X better than the industry standardProficiency in understanding risk data and identifying patterns that can be operationalized into product improvementsStrong track record of cross-functional leadership, particularly in navigating tradeoffs between risk, compliance, and customer experience prioritiesExceptional communication skills that allow you to translate complex risk concepts into actionable product strategiesComfort with ambiguity and ability to make balanced decisions with imperfect informationExperience working with rules and decisioning systems are a bonusThe total rewards package at Mercury includes base salary, equity (stock options), and benefits.Our salary and equity ranges are highly competitive within the SaaS and fintech industry and are updated regularly using the most reliable compensation survey data for our industry.
