We also have a physical offices in San Francisco, New York City, Mumbai and Bangalore for employees who prefer to work in an office some or all of the time.About your roleWeâre looking for an entrepreneurial product leader to set the vision and strategy for Juniper Squareâs financial reporting and BI solutions. You will help our clients address a critical pain point: fragmented, inaccessible data that limits meaningful analysis and reporting. The scope of this data spans from CRM notes & emails all the way to financial transactions, account balances, and custom performance metrics. In addition to data coverage and complexity, clients increasingly seek flexible data presentation to deliver clear, contextual insights with the necessary context for their internal stakeholders and their investors.You will define and build a configurable, scalable reporting platform that enables GPs to tailor financial reporting to their firmâs structure, strategy, and investor needs. This means secure, auditable data access, coupled with intuitive interfaces for transforming and presenting complex private markets data.To get this right, you will need to understand and think through the entire life cycle of the data, from the most granular data element in the source system all the way to the pixel on the report. You'll work closely with clients and internal Fund Accountants, approaching the problem from first-principles and you will develop a short, medium and long term roadmap that will have a lasting impact on Private Markets.Weâre a close-knit, high-performing team driven by an entrepreneurial mindset, a commitment to continuous improvement, and a passion for solving complex challenges. If you share these values and thrive in a high velocity, outcome-focused environment, weâd love to hear from you.For this role, candidates in the San Francisco bay area are preferred who are able to be in the office 2-3 times per week.What youâll doDevelop vision, strategy and execute on the roadmap for Reporting and Data initiativesMeet frequently with clients and prospects to understand needs, validate ideas and hear feedbackCollaborate closely with engineering, design, QA and peers through the phases of SLDCEvangelize the roadmap, gain executive and team alignment and buy-inDevelop business cases for monetization informing pricing, packaging and R&D investment decisionsQualifications5+ years in Product Management with 2+ years at similar level, in B2B SaaSBachelorâs degree or equivalent schooling or training; Preferred Masterâs degreeExperience with data-rich products, reporting / BI capabilitiesComfort working with a range of levels, from envisioning entirely new products to mastering details and edge casesStrategic thinking - ability to define a compelling long term product vision, articulate the strategy and execute a multi year roadmap for complex productsProven ability to break down complex, ambiguous challenges into clear, actionable product solutions.Familiarity with key relevant concepts: APIs, data pipelines, ETL/ELT, data warehouses, reporting solutionsExpertise in product analytics, KPIs, prioritization frameworks, and using data to drive product strategyCustomer first mentality, experience working with clients and prospectsExcellent communicator and effective advocator, works well across departments and stakeholders internally as well as senior leadershipFamiliarity with finance and investment concepts is valuable, but not essentialAt Juniper Square, we believe building a diverse workforce and an inclusive culture makes us a better company. The U.S. base salary range for this role is $150,000 - $190,000.
