Senior Product Manager- Oncology Marketing (Remote)
About the position The Senior Product Manager (SPM) of Oncology Marketing at Jazz Pharmaceuticals will play a pivotal role in supporting promotional and customer marketing activities for an in-line product within the Oncology business unit. This position focuses on driving product adoption through strategic and tactical marketing plans, particularly for the upcoming launch in 1st line maintenance treatment of Extensive Stage Small Cell Lung Cancer (SCLC). The SPM will engage in cross-functional initiatives, manage key projects, and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines while collaborating with various teams to enhance marketing efforts. Responsibilities • Develop and refine strategies for the 1LM launch to ensure successful execution. • Collaborate on the overall Oncology marketing promotional strategy and execution. • Create and update key promotional tactics for the launch, such as interactive visual aids. • Manage key vendors, including a primary ad agency, to maintain an effective promotional platform. • Consult on media planning and execution with a focus on 1LM strategic priorities. • Serve as a marketing point-person on cross-functional teams, including the PMRC for 1LM workstreams. • Lead the oncology marketing booth at ASCO and other relevant conferences. • Develop and execute advisory boards for strategic insights. • Lead tactical planning for 2026 to ensure integrated strategic execution across the brand. • Establish strong relationships with the sales team and field-based commercial teams for optimal execution. • Manage relationships with critical functions, thought leaders, and strategic business partners. • Ensure all tactics meet compliance and regulatory guidelines and company policies. • Collaborate with finance partners to manage the budget appropriately. Requirements • 3+ years of marketing or related commercial experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry. • Oncology experience is preferred. • Field experience is preferred. • Strong strategic thinking skills. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. • Proven track record of delivering results. • Ability to inspire and influence others. • Excellent communication skills, including presentation skills to larger audiences. • Strong project management capabilities. • Analytical and problem-solving skills. • Proactive and takes initiative. • Demonstrates good judgment.
