We're seeking a strategic and innovative Senior Product Manager to lead our Inventory Insights & Acquisition team. In this remote role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data science, software engineering, and data engineering, to establish a robust scrum structure and foster best practices in product management. Your expertise will directly impact our ability to maintain optimal stock levels, ensuring our Omnichannel Guests have access to the products they love.
About the Position
As a Senior Product Manager for Inventory Insights & Acquisition, you will:
Own the Inventory Insights Acquisition pipeline, integrating machine learning and artificial intelligence recommendations to streamline inventory adjustments
Develop a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap, setting key business objectives (OKRs) and prioritizing product direction based on customer feedback and data analysis
Lead a cross-functional product team, including engineers, UX designers, and data scientists, to deliver a product that meets the needs of our stakeholders
Maintain a product backlog, outlining customer themes, epics, and stories, and prioritize high-impact work for your team
Encourage open communication, inspire your team to achieve challenging goals, and foster a sense of urgency to overcome obstacles
Responsibilities
Take ownership of the Inventory Insights Acquisition pipeline
Integrate ML/AI recommendations to streamline inventory adjustments
Influence and build scrum structure across data science, software, and data engineering teams
Ensure daily accurate inventory adjustments to maintain stock levels for Omnichannel Guests
Develop a comprehensive product strategy and related roadmap
Set key business objectives (OKRs) for the product
Leverage customer feedback and data to assess value and prioritize product direction
Lead a cross-functional product team including engineers, UX designers, and data scientists
Maintain a product backlog outlining customer themes, epics, and stories
Encourage open exchange of information and viewpoints among team members
Inspire others to achieve challenging goals and high performance standards
Requirements
Four-year degree or equivalent experience
6+ years of product management experience or equivalent domain experience, preferably in data science, data analysis, stakeholder management, A/B statistical testing, and inventory defect management
Experience with technology and ability to facilitate communication between business and technology teams
Experience working in an agile environment (e.g., user stories, iterative development, scrum teams, sprints, personas)
Ability to lead a body of work with cross-functional partners
Strong communication skills
