You’ll work across multiple areas of our product, from chat interfaces and AI content tools to payment flows, sign-up experiences, character creation, and marketing landing pages.You’ll partner directly with our Product Design Lead to shape the future of AI companionship — defining design standards, refining systems, and delivering experiences that will be used and loved by millions. You’ll tackle problems few designers have ever faced, in a category that’s still being invented, and have the freedom to turn bold, AI‑powered ideas into elegant, high‑performing experiences.Your ResponsibilitiesProduct & Feature DesignOwn the end-to-end design process for features across multiple product areas from concept to deliveryTranslate complex AI capabilities into clear, intuitive, and engaging user experiencesMaintain and evolve a unified design system to ensure consistency and scalability across productsDesign for emerging and evolving UX patterns in a fast‑moving AI product landscape, drawing on market trends and competitor insightsAdapt quickly and manage multiple projects in parallel, delivering at speed without compromising qualityCollaboration & PrototypingWork hand-in-hand with Product Managers, Engineers, and Marketers from concept to deliveryRapidly prototype and test ideas before committing to full buildsProvide clear, actionable feedback during design reviews and help raise the bar for design qualityBe open to challenging ideas and having your own ideas challenged, fostering healthy debate to achieve the best design outcomesContinuous Improvement & ExperimentationSupport fast-paced A/B testing with quick design iterationsExperiment with AI-assisted design workflows to speed up delivery and explore new possibilitiesStay ahead of design trends, AI UX patterns, and emerging interaction modelsChallenges You’ll TackleDesign for a product used by millions, ensuring high-quality experiences at scaleWork across vastly different product surfaces while maintaining design consistencyTranslate AI-powered capabilities into usable, engaging, and monetizable featuresImprove conversion and retention through iterative design and testingLead 0-to-1 feature design, from concept to launch, in ambiguous and fast-moving environmentsBalance creativity with data-driven decision-making to optimize user experience and business impactYour QualificationsMust-Haves5+ years of end-to-end product design experience, ideally in dating or social platforms, chat-based experiences, AI-generation tools, or live‑interactive gamified productsStrong skills in interaction design, visual design, responsive design and information architectureProven ability to ship impactful features from 0→1 and iterate based on real-world feedbackProficiency in Figma, with the ability to create production-ready UI assetsExpert-level prototyping skills to clearly communicate ideas, flows, and interactions to developers and stakeholdersResourceful problem-solving: able to find creative solutions that achieve both beauty and practicality.Strong ability to synthesise insights from competitor and market research into actionable design decisionsNice‑to‑HavesExperience designing AI-driven products or other complex, emerging tech experiencesExperience with AI content‑generation tools such as Midjourney, Kling, or ReplicateA genuine interest in AI, demonstrated through personal projects, experimentation, or professional workStrong grasp of effective copywriting, recognising that copy is an integral part of designSkills in motion design, illustration, or 3DUnderstanding of HTML/CSS/JS for effective collaboration with developers to deliver solutions that are both visually compelling and technically soundExperience working on subscription‑based products with a focus on retention and monetizationSoft Skills User-obsessed: you start with the user and work backwards⚡ Velocity-driven: know when to go deep and when to ship fast Creative problem-solver: thrive in ambiguity and turn concepts into reality Strong communicator: articulate design rationale clearly to both designers and non-designers.
