Senior Product Designer - Platform
Jellyfish is looking for a talented Senior Product Designer - Platform to help craft world-class experiences for our largest customers. As we continue to expand our user base, the demand for robust administration tools, user management, and platform configuration is paramount. We're seeking a designer who can help define our overarching platform vision and translate complex requirements into intuitive, scalable solutions that empower our customers.Let's talk about what you'll do:Help build, deliver, and refine clear strategy and storytelling around platform needs and opportunitiesPlay a major role in product decision-making, working directly with customers and leadership across the organizationRally and inspire the team to deliver experiences that live up to your high standardsAnalyze and document enterprise-tier customer needs through quantitative data analysis, building relationships with customer support, and conducting user interviews with engineering leadersDevelop generalizable solutions that address the convoluted structures of our enterprise customers while maintaining a high degree of usability and customer ownershipLead collaboration efforts with other product teams to execute on platform-wide initiativesBuild lasting and effective relationships with our Support and Sales Engineering teams in order to work together to solve and prevent customer problemsLet’s talk about what you need to excel:6+ years of experience working as a product-focused digital designerExperience with platform-level system thinking, understanding and designing for complex interconnected systems and their dependenciesAn eye for high-quality, well-crafted visual and interaction design, and a passion for UI detailsExperience working directly with customers to inform design decisions through research, testing, and conversationProficiency in data visualization and insightsProficiency in prototyping your ideas to help articulate nuanced design decisionsExperience handling comprehensive projects with overlapping organizational linesAbility to communicate your ideas and decisions to a variety of stakeholdersEnergized by simplifying complexity and bringing elegance to everyday user tasksIt's not required, but bonus points for:Experience with software engineering and the processes and practices associated with itExperience in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment, especially enterprise-focused productsA generative spirit, and excitement for coming up with novel, simple solutionsA good understanding of backend infrastructure, and/or experience working in-depth with backend engineersA list of job experiences and qualification requirements is great, but humility, a performance-driven attitude, and a team-player approach are most important to us.
