About the Role As a Senior Product Designer for Online Ordering - Merchant Satisfaction, you will play a pivotal role in designing and enhancing the user experience for merchants engaging with their customers through our digital ordering channels. You will be responsible for owning the end-to-end user experience, contributing to product strategy, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful design solutions. Key Responsibilities Own the User Experience: Lead the design of products from concept to launch, ensuring a seamless and intuitive experience for merchants. Drive Product Strategy: Contribute to product strategy and vision, charting a path forward for new initiatives and features. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to build and ship designs that meet business objectives. Communicate Design Decisions: Deliver clear and compelling storytelling around product needs and opportunities, articulating design decisions and rationale. Create and Refine Designs: Develop, collaborate on, and refine flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals to ensure a world-class user experience. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you should have: 5+ Years of Experience: A strong background in product design, with a portfolio showcasing high-quality craft at scale. Leadership Experience: A proven track record of leading new initiatives and achieving success in a team environment. 0-1 Design Experience: The ability to validate market fit for brand-new products and drive product strategy and vision. Balancing Multiple Disciplines: Skilled in balancing strategy, research, interaction design, and visual design to deliver comprehensive design solutions. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following skills and experience will be considered a plus: SaaS and Online Ordering Experience: Familiarity with SaaS products and online ordering systems, with a deep understanding of the merchant experience. User Research and Usability Testing: Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing, with the ability to inform design decisions with data. Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
