Key job responsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:Lead end-to-end design processes for complex and ambiguous automotive products and servicesDevelop high-fidelity prototypes and vision pieces that inspire teams and stakeholdersDeliver pixel-perfect designs and detailed specifications to engineering teamsEnsure consistent visual language and interaction patterns across all touch pointsDrive design strategies that align with business goals and customer needsMentor junior designers on visual design principles and best practicesCollaborate closely with engineering teams to bring designs to life with precision and careAbout the team
This role is with a new line of business with a vision to create innovative automotive discovery and shopping experiences on Amazon. We're collaborating with other experienced teams at Amazon to define the future of how customers research and shop for cars and how dealerships sell cars online.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 8+ years of UX designer or interaction designer experience
- Have an online portfolio or samples of work on resume, demonstrating experience creating great end-to-end, user-centered design solutions and patterns, across desktop and mobile devices
- Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, InVision, or similarPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience defining and maintaining design patterns and UX standards
