Mazrui International is a diversified holding group with multiple businesses across different industries such as Financial Investments, Oil & Gas, Real Estate, Trading, Retail, Transportation, Logistics, Hospitality, Education etc. Websites :- (Main Holding Group) Job Title :- Senior Procurement Officer - Healthcare (Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices) Job Purpose :- To manage and execute the end-to-end procurement of pharmaceutical products and medical devices, taking ownership of supplier engagement, negotiations, purchase orders, regulatory and compliance documentation, and delivery follow-ups. The role ensures cost efficiency, supplier performance, and timely product availability, while closely coordinating with sales and finance teams for accurate reporting, planning, and smooth procurement operations. Key role and responsibilities :- Supervise purchasing activities and ensure efficient materials management and procurement operations. Monitor supplier performance, quality, and KPI compliance; implement improvement and recovery plans as needed. Negotiate and approve purchase orders and vendor contracts to meet business requirements. Drive cost-saving initiatives, commodity strategies, and supplier selection processes. Foster a high-performance culture and ensure alignment with other departments (Sales, Product Management, Warehouse & Planning). Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Supervise support team tasks, provide coaching, and ensure timely delivery of support services. Collaborate across support units to implement standardized processes within the trading sector. Experience :- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, or Health Industry. Academic Qualification :- Bachelor or Master Degree in Supply Chain Management / Accounting / Logistics / Business Administration Accountabilities and Performance Measures :- Prepare Report & Cost analysis Professional negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms.
