Key Responsibilities:
• Review, edit, and validate security guidance and requirements governing cross-domain solutions (CDSs) to ensure they are technically sound, internally consistent, and enforceable by system security assessment activities.
• Assess and refine official guidance language related to data filtering, content inspection, and file blocking requirements to clearly articulate expectations for malware prevention and data protection.
• Ensure security guidance accurately conveys core system security principles and control intent, enabling consistent and compliant implementation across CDS community development efforts.
• Provide insight into the establishment and updating of CDS development requirements, coordinating with cybersecurity, engineering, and compliance authorities to resolve ambiguity and maintain authoritative, developer-ready guidance.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or related discipline and 12 years of directly related experience or a Master’s degree and 10 years of directly related experience, or a PhD and 8 years of directly related experience.
• Analyze user’s requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
• Analyze system requirements and lead design and development activities.
• Guide users in formulating requirements, advise alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility studies.
• Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, designs, and technology. Incorporate new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations.
• Develop technical documentation.
• Develop system architecture and system design documentation.
• Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
• Interact with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts.
• Ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.
• Communicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
• Fourteen (14) years’ experience as an ISSE on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity within the Federal Government is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Technical Certification as a Certified System Engineering Professional (CSEP) from INCOSE or DAWIA SPRDE Level 2

Salary: The starting salary range for this position has been established as $184,000 – $200,000. The Concurrent Technologies Corporation pay range for this job level is a general guideline and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
