We are looking for an experienced Presales Architect to support complex managed services opportunities in an enterprise environment. The role combines strong architectural capabilities with a sales-driven mindset and focuses on SAP-centric landscapes as well as increasingly integrated non-SAP platforms (e.g. Microsoft, ServiceNow). What you’ll be doing Analyze and qualify customer requests (RFI, RFP, workshops) Proactively shape and develop opportunities (deal shaping) Identify cross- and upselling potential across the service portfolio Design end-to-end managed services solutions for: SAP landscapes (e.g. S/4HANA, RISE, GROW), near-SAP and non-SAP platforms (e.g. Microsoft Azure, M365, ServiceNow) Develop integrated target architectures (hybrid, multi-cloud, sovereign cloud) Define operating models, SLAs and service boundaries Define transformation strategies: Cloud migration (SAP & non-SAP) Transition of existing landscapes Integration of platform services (e.g. ITSM, collaboration, security) Identify risks and define mitigation strategies Build cost models for: Infrastructure services, Application Management Services (AMS), transition and transformation Support pricing strategy and proposal positioning Collaborate closely with: sales, delivery units Product management, Service Management Act as the main technical counterpart for customers Lead Discovery workshops, due diligence assessments, executive and C-level presentations What you’ll bring along Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Information Systems. Minimum 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in presales, solution architecture or consulting Experience with enterprise customers and complex deals Solid understanding of SAP Basis, architecture and operations Knowledge of S/4HANA and ideally RISE/GROW Understanding of HANA and HA/DR concept Experience with hyperscale platforms Knowledge of virtualization, storage, backup and networking Understanding of hybrid and multi-cloud environments Experience in costing, proposal and contract creation Understanding of SLAs, KPIs and service contracts Ability to translate technical solutions into business value Nice to have, exposure to or experience with: Microsoft platforms, ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms Ability to integrate SAP and non-SAP services conceptually IT security services and compliance (e.g. SIEM, SOC, sovereign cloud) Application Managed Services (AMS) operating models Strong ownership mindset Ability to work in complex and ambiguous environments Excellent communication and presentation skills Team-oriented and cross-functional thinking Fluent in written and spoken English and/or German Willingness to travel (up to 30%)
