THE LOCATION: Paris, France (Remote) THE ROLE This position requires daily customer, business partner and internal team interaction in France. Together with the regional Sales team you will be engaged in a customer’s journey from the discovery phase to the post sales handover. Keeping track of customer cases in the helpdesk program and utilizing this system to delegate, engaging your peers, and moving sales opportunities towards closure are routine activities. Expect to travel 2-3 weeks out of a month and 2-3 days each of those weeks. A strong desire to learn and a “can do, want to learn” attitude is needed. You will be working with an experienced, motivated team willing to share their knowledge and experience to help you expand your skillset and succeed in reaching your goals. TASKS AND RESPONSABILITIES Be part of a team of Presales engineers providing excellent service to IGEL’s customers and partners in FranceTechnical contact for new customers from the discovery and qualification phase to post sales handoverBuild and maintain customer and partner rapport through virtual meetings and on-site visitsAnalysis of customer needs and development of technical solutionsPrepare, execute, and support proof of conceptsTake ownership of technical RFIs, RFPs and public tenders and respond in timeWorks on complex projectsArchitect solutions by working with the customer directly or in conjunction with both the partner and customer while adhering to the IGEL reference architecture and best practicesAssist new technology partners to integrate their solution into IGEL OS if required and hand it over to the IGEL Ready team to generate new businessBecome a Subject Matter Expert in a specific technology stackUse of remote tools to demonstrate IGEL’s solutions and to assist customers in troubleshooting issuesEnsure a clear and professional communication between our teams and the customerExecution and pro-active preparation and follow-up of technical product presentations and workshopsDemonstrate our technology at industry events and tradeshowsPromote IGEL training offerings, additional IGEL services and IGEL CertificationsMay assist less-experienced colleaguesWide latitude for independent judgementCollaborate with teams from Development, Customer Engineering, Advanced Services, Sales, Marketing and Leadership to create new technical sales strategiesCommunication of customer / market requirements to the Product Management and DevelopmentContinue education by attending training sessions and reading technical documentationWork through technical issues at the operating system levelManage technical issues, solutions, and sales opportunity progress by creating cases within IGEL’s helpdesk systemManage case escalation to maintain forward movement on sales opportunitiesAbility and willingness to travel as needed EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFACATIONS Personal skills Highly skilled with extensive proficiencyStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with engineers, sales teams, and managementStrong presentation skillsA team player who is influential and builds good working relationships across all levelsFlexibility, integrity, and creative problem-solving skills are imperative to be successful in this roleVery good ability to understand and explain complex technical issues in an easy wayAbility to communicate via phone and email is requiredAbility to listen effectively and show patience while working with customers, colleagues, and partnersAbility to adapt to new technologies quicklyAbility to work independently under minimal supervisionAbility to take effective notesAbility to multitask effectively and work under pressurePositive work ethicFluent in French and EnglishSpanish as an additional language preferable but not essential Technical skills Minimum of six to nine years Presales Engineer experience requiredWorking knowledge of Linux Operating SystemsIn-depth knowledge of IGEL’s products and solutions, especially IGEL OS, the Universal Management Suite and the IGEL Cloud Gateway or other Thin Client/Endpoint operating systems is a plusWorking knowledge of Windows Operating SystemsExperience in Remote Desktop Services, Azure Virtual Desktop, AWS, Citrix, VMware Horizon environmentsKnowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, AD, etc.Good understanding of the solutions offered by IGEL’s technology partners Matt Krajnik [email protected] IGEL Technology Green Park, 200 Brook Drive, Reading, Berkshire, RG2 6UB, United Kingdom, Mob: 07939236699 Interested?
