Job Summary As a Senior Pharmacy Technician - Call Center - Work From Home, you will be an integral part of our team, handling a range of responsibilities that require a strong and diverse skillset. Your role will involve performing clinical research, verifying eligibility and benefits, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. You will also communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including case managers, health plan staff, external pharmacies, and healthcare providers. Key Responsibilities: Perform clinical research to support requests and verify eligibility and benefits. Maintain accurate and complete documentation that meets risk management, regulatory, and accreditation requirements. Process requests in compliance with laws, CMS regulations, and company policies. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to enhance medication therapy management services. Escalate requests to pharmacists when extensive clinical review or denial is required. Utilize proprietary systems to build, research, process, and enter requests. Protect the confidentiality of member information and adhere to company policies regarding confidentiality. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Proficiency in computerized pharmacy systems and software applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with Windows-based software applications. National Pharmacy Technician certification and Arizona and/or Texas State License, current and in good standing. Ability to work in a sedentary position involving significant periods of sitting, talking, hearing, and keying. Preferred Qualifications: High-volume call center and production unit experience. Experience in retail, hospital, facility, or call center environments. High School diploma or G.E.D.
