Senior Pharmacy Professional
Overview:** Chewy is seeking a Senior Pharmacy Professional to join our team in Louisville, KY at our Fern Valley location. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and wellness services to our customers and their pets. Ā Interpret and verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and safety
Ā Review prescriber medication orders to identify potential issues and communicate with veterinarians and customers as needed
Ā Oversee and direct pharmacy technicians and interns, providing ongoing training and coaching
Ā Maintain necessary records to meet federal and state legal requirements and pharmacy policies
Ā Uphold operational standards, including performance metrics, safety, and compliance
Ā Perform related duties and assignments as directed by management
Ā May require travel
Ā *Qualifications:**
Ā Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (RPh) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
Ā Active pharmacy license in the state of Kentucky, with license in good standing, and other states and credentials as required
Ā Strong customer service and attention to detail
Ā Ability to lead a team
Ā Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ā Ability to work a variety of schedules, including evenings, holidays, and weekends
