One Data Streaming Platform.About the Role:As a Senior People Business Partner (PBP) supporting multiple GTM functions across the EMEA region, you have the opportunity to align business objectives with people strategies, in partnership with leaders and managers. These initiatives will enable the company's overall business strategy, culture, and values, and will directly contribute to the scaling of an inclusive, results-oriented, and high-performance work environment. With past experience working in fast-paced companies, the ideal candidate will recall a history of successfully leveraging deep knowledge of HR practices to meet the goals of the organizations they support. Day to day will entail manager coaching, manager/team enablement, and organisational development initiatives to assist in enabling the business to meet mission-critical deliverables.EMEA is growing at a fast pace and we’re present in more than 12 locations across the region. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of building a strong People Business Partner function in the region, and to be the voice of that region for the global People Team.This position reports directly to the Senior Director, People Business Partnering in EMEA. While the role is based in London, UK, we are a remote first company and you will be able to work from home for most of the week should you wish to.What You Will Do:Partner with leaders and managers across EMEA to assess business goals, and deploy talent strategies that advance priorities and drive scaleAnalyze data to ascertain key insights that anchor and inform talent strategies to advance business objectivesSupport full-scale People programs and processes for client groups, including performance management, compensation program administration, talent management, workforce planning, talent & leadership development, employee engagement & retention, org culture, and diversity & inclusionCollaborate with team members across the people team, including compensation, recruiting, learning & development, benefits, and mobility, to help design and implement people programs and initiatives, which attract, develop retain, engage industry-leading talentDesign and lead efforts to evolve and strengthen our culture, including openness and inclusionGuide managers and leaders on sensitive employee relations matters while partnering with employees as a trusted confidant and advocateDevelop trusting, value-add, credible relationships with business leaders, HR, and stakeholdersAct as a cultural steward to scale the Confluent culture as we grow our teams and locationsWhat You Will Bring:BA/BS degree or equivalent working experienceA French speaker (business level fluency) will be a major plus for this role6+ years of Business Partner experience with accountabilities that include direct support of senior leadersExperience working in scale-up growth environment, ideally in tech, and supporting multiple countriesFirst-hand experience working within an international, fast-growing organization with progressive HR practicesDemonstrable experience engaging managers on thoughtful deployment of compensation programs, such as bonus, stock, and merit to help retain, recognize, reward top talentDemonstrated competence in the various HR functional areas, especially career development, performance management, manager enablement, and change managementDemonstrated competence in managing complex employee relations and in training managers on handling these sensitivelyA strong balance of IQ and EQ with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Ready to build what's next?
